Our process involves multiple stages, each requiring extensive time, effort, and resources. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have outlined the following detailed cancellation and refund policy. This policy clarifies the refund structure based on the progress of services rendered and ensures both parties are protected.

1. General Policy Overview

Once an order is placed with getabroad.org, our team promptly begins working on the client’s request. Our services are divided into distinct stages ( Job Search, CV and Cover Letter Preparation, Job Application Submission, and Report Preparation ) each of which requires significant attention, time, and resources.

Due to the customized nature of our services, cancellations will incur costs based on the stage of work completed at the time of cancellation. Refunds will be processed in alignment with the stage-by-stage breakdown described below.

2. Breakdown of Services and Refund Structure

Stage 1: Job Search (30% of Total Payment)

Upon receiving an order, we immediately begin the job search process. This involves conducting detailed research to identify suitable job opportunities for the client in the countries of their choice, focusing on tier-one nations such as Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and others.

  • Time and Effort Involved: Researching job markets, understanding the client’s profile, matching job requirements, and filtering relevant opportunities.
  • Non-refundable Amount: 30% of the total payment.

If the client cancels after the job search process has begun or been completed, 30% of the total payment will be non-refundable, as this phase requires significant time and resources.

Stage 2: Customized CV and Cover Letter Creation (30% of Total Payment)

After completing the job search, we proceed with the creation of a customized CV and cover letter. These documents are crafted to align with the client’s job profile and the identified job opportunities.

  • Time and Effort Involved: Tailoring the client’s resume to international standards, aligning the cover letter with specific job requirements, and ensuring both documents are professional and optimized for success.
  • Non-refundable Amount: 30% of the total payment.

Since the CV and cover letter are customized and reusable for future applications, 30% of the total payment is non-refundable if the client cancels at this stage. The client will still receive the prepared CV and cover letter, along with one complimentary revision.

Stage 3: Job Application Submission (30% of Total Payment)

Once the job search and CV preparation are complete, we move forward with applying for the identified jobs on behalf of the client.

  • Time and Effort Involved: Submitting applications to various employers, ensuring accuracy in data entry, following individual employer protocols, and keeping track of each submission.
  • Non-refundable Amount: 30% of the total payment.

If the client cancels after the job application submission, 30% of the total payment is non-refundable, as the job application process cannot be reversed once completed. However, in the event of any mistakes on our part during the job application process, we will offer a review and rectification service at no additional charge.

Stage 4: Report Preparation (10% of Total Payment)

After completing the job applications, we prepare a comprehensive report for the client. This report includes the list of jobs applied for, customized CV, cover letter, job links, and application submission screenshots.

  • Time and Effort Involved: Collecting and organizing all necessary documents and data into a detailed and easy-to-understand format.
  • Non-refundable Amount: 10% of the total payment.

Once the report is prepared, 10% of the total payment is non-refundable. This phase finalizes the entire service provided, as the client receives a detailed account of all jobs applied for on their behalf.


3. Cancellation and Refund Timelines

We understand that situations can change, and a client may need to cancel their order. Below is a breakdown of the refund amount based on when the cancellation occurs:

  • Cancellation after Job Search but before CV Preparation: 70% of the total amount is refundable.
  • Cancellation after CV and Cover Letter Creation but before Job Application Submission: 40% of the total amount is refundable. The client will receive the CV and cover letter, along with one free revision.
  • Cancellation after Job Application Submission: 10% of the total amount is refundable, and the client will receive the detailed report.
  • Cancellation after Report Preparation: No refunds will be issued, as the service has been fully completed.

All approved refunds will be processed and sent within 15 working days using the original payment method.

4. Conditions of Refund

  • Refund requests must be initiated by contacting our support team via email at enquiry@getabroad.org or by WhatsApp +91 8089929299.
  • Refunds will only be processed for cancellations that adhere to the timelines and conditions outlined above. If the client attempts to cancel outside of these guidelines, the refund request may be denied.
  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method within 15 working days after a successful refund request is approved.

5. Services Not Covered by Refunds

  • Any services that have been fully completed by the time of cancellation will not be eligible for a refund. For example, if job applications have been submitted and the final report has been generated, no refunds will be processed for those services.
  • Refunds are not applicable for minor dissatisfaction with the end results. We guarantee one free revision for the CV and cover letter, but if the client uses the documents or services beyond what was agreed upon, no refunds will be provided.
  • We do not refund payments related to third-party services, such as payments made to recruitment agencies, employers, or other external parties.

6. Disclaimers and Client Responsibilities

  • getabroad.org is not responsible for outcomes such as interview calls or job offers, as these depend solely on the employer’s decision. Our services are aimed at assisting the client in job applications but do not guarantee a job offer.
  • We do not provide any immigration services or work permit assistance. Clients are solely responsible for handling their visa and work permit processes.
  • Clients must prepare for interviews and handle communication with employers. While we assist with the application process, we do not offer interview preparation services unless explicitly requested as an add-on service.
